# Citanto

> Citanto is GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) software for small businesses and agencies. It audits a website's technical and content prerequisites, prepares content from the business information the customer supplies, delivers changes to compatible websites and measures brand mentions and cited sources in sampled AI answers.

The free public audit reads a website's homepage, robots.txt, sitemap and up to 15 pages listed in the sitemap. It returns an AI-readiness score: a check of technical and content prerequisites. That score is not a measurement of AI visibility, a traffic forecast or a guarantee that any AI system will mention or recommend a business.

Paid plans run a monthly workflow: re-audit, AI-answer measurement, content planning, drafts for review and a report. The measurement sends a fixed panel of questions to the OpenAI, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude APIs with web search enabled. The panel is built from question templates, the business category and its offers; it is not drawn from search-demand data. API answers can differ from what people see in the consumer apps.

Drafts are checked against the business facts supplied. Prices, percentages, opening hours, phone numbers and named certifications are compared with the business profile automatically; a value missing from the profile holds the draft for revision. Unsupported statements are flagged for human review. WordPress articles are delivered as CMS drafts through the Citanto plugin. Wix, Duda, Shopify, custom-built sites and other platforms have no connection: the customer publishes each approved article from a kit with guided steps. The customer then gives the page address, and Citanto checks that the page shows the approved text. Wix and Duda also get a block of business information to paste. Available capabilities depend on the platform and the plan.

Done for you is a managed service available on request at EUR 249 per month, including Starter. The Citanto team connects the site, completes the business profile with the customer, reviews and publishes articles, and follows up each month. Access and publishing arrangements are confirmed before work starts. Starter’s platform and language limits apply.
